Land Rover Discovery lands on its roof in residential Dogsthorpe street
A white Land Rover Discovery came to rest upside down in a residential road in Dogsthorpe, Peterborough, on the night of Sunday 4 October 2026, pictured at 9:57pm. The frames show the vehicle on its roof across the carriageway outside a row of semi-detached houses, wheels in the air, tail lights still lit and broken glass spread over the tarmac, with a door torn back and the interior exposed. Police in high-visibility jackets stand at the kerb and residents watch from the pavement a few feet away as blue lights wash across the fronts of the homes. A wider view down the road shows the street closed behind the wreck, a fire appliance and emergency vehicles drawn up and traffic stopped. The contributor says the Discovery had collided with a blue Audi TT, that the woman driving was alone in the car, and that nobody was severely injured.
