Terms of service

These terms govern your use of PressApp. By creating an account or uploading content you agree to these terms and our contributor agreement.

Eligibility. You must be 18 or over, provide accurate account information and keep your login secure.

Your content. You retain copyright in everything you upload. You grant PressApp a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to review, market, crop, watermark, license and distribute that content to publishers for editorial use.

Your promises. You confirm that you created the content or have the rights to license it, that it is accurate, and that you followed the law, our content policy and our safety guidance when capturing it.

Payment. We show earning estimates in the app, but the final payout depends on the agreed sale price, exclusivity, fees, verification checks and any editorial adjustments. Approved payouts are sent weekly to your nominated bank account or PayPal.

Prohibited conduct. Do not stage or manipulate scenes, trespass, harass, impersonate officials, upload unlawful or harmful material, or use the service to share private data, spam or false reports.

Review and removal. We may hold, reject, blur, delist or remove any submission at our discretion where it raises safety, legal, privacy or editorial concerns.

Termination. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You can close your account from settings at any time.

Liability. PressApp is provided on an as-is basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
